Search Engine Marketing Conference Philippines 2007

SEMCON 2007, the first international search engine marketing conference this side of the Pacific. SEMCON 2007 or Search Engine Marketing Conference Philippines 2007 will run from October 9 to 10, 2007 and will gather the best Internet marketers and Web professionals in the Philippines and beyond.

Aaron Wall of SEO Book
Aaron Wall is a popular blogger and search engine marketing expert who entered the field in 2003. He has consulted for some of the largest websites, smaller websites, and publishes many of his own sites. He has been interviewed by mainstream media organizations like Forbes, the London Times, and the WSJ and has spoke publicly at numerous Internet marketing conferences. His popular SEO Book is widely read and considered by many as the most authoritative guide to learning SEO on the web.
Prashant Mehta - Vice President, Emerging Markets at Yahoo!
Prashant currently serves as Yahoo!’s Vice President of Monetization & Sales for the Emerging Markets. In this role, Prashant oversees all the brand and search advertising organizations, as well as the sales strategy and products for Yahoo!’s Emerging Markets Group. Prior to this, he was responsible for brand advertising sales across Asia-Pacific and Latin America. In this role, Prashant helped build a strong leadership team across the region and secured Yahoo!’s lead within the online brand advertising business.
Earlier, Prashant led Yahoo!’s Strategic Alliance team where he was responsible for developing, negotiating and structuring some of Yahoo!’s most strategic partnerships with global 500 corporations. Currently Prashant sits on Yahoo!’s internal advertising council, which sets the company’s global advertising policy and helps drive the overall strategic direction of Yahoo!’s advertising business.
Prior to Yahoo!, Prashant worked at Lehman Brothers Emerging Markets Group in New York. Prashant holds a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
