The first-generation Zune players sales are continuing to rise due to their heavily discounted prices? Compare to 4GB iPod Nano that cost $135 and a 30GB Zune for $134. The big discount is crazy and i wouldn’t pass this deal. I rather have a 30GB than a 4GB music player. (more…)

Indroducing Android:

Today, the team is releasing an early look at the Android SDK for developers interested in building applications for Android. To get things rolling, we’ve also announced the Android Developer Challenge, which provides $10 million in awards for developers who build great applications for Android. Called SIPtap, the software is able to monitor multiple Voice-over-IP (VoIP) call streams, listening in and recording them for remote inspection as .wav files. All that the criminal would need would be to infect a single PC inside the network with a Trojan incorporating these functions, although the hack would work at ISP level as well.

Thought of using VoIP as far more safer than the traditional digital land lines from wire-tapping? This VoIP proof-of-concept hacks scares me and the rest of the world who gives priority about security and their privacy. I don’t want anyone lurking in my network sniffing my calls.

Maybe the Wordpress Developer is not happy where Technorati is going. The Technorati search results is not that good and it’s losing against Google in Blog Search results. As of this writing the search results of Google returns are far more superior compare to Technorati. When i try searching same keyword in Google Blog Search and Technorati, the SERPs of Google Blog Search has more results and relevance against Technorati search. (more…)

After Breaking Open Facebook with Free Open Source Software, TechCrunch reports Google plans to announce an open API for social networking tomorrow. “OpenSocial is a set of three common APIs, defined by Google with input from partners, that allow developers to access core functions and information at social networks: 1) Profile Information (user data) 2) Friends Information (social graph) and 3) Activities (things that happen, News Feed type stuff)” Says Om Malik: “OpenSocial attacks Facebook where it is the weakest (and the strongest): its quintessential closed nature…Even if you take Facebook out of the equation, the task of writing and adapting widgets for the every increasing number of social platforms was going to be turn into a colossal mess.

Ted Padova talks about Adobe Acrobat. Ted is an accomplished Acrobat PDF Book writer. He has around 26books published. He is one of the authority when it comes to PDF.

Chris Cubos tackles about Adobe Flex. He shows how easy to do scripting with Flex. Flex can also be installed in Linux. Flex is new to me. I’m kind of interested since i’m a linux user myself.
I’m looking forward for next workshop and more events about Adobe.
